Unlike other “inorganic” descaling products, Wheelhouse Industries’ Organic Descaling Solutions do not “eat, attack, or dissolve” calcium carbonate; they simply break the bonds for an eco-friendly cleaning solution.
Our completely environmentally safe organic descaling products include:
Quantum Organic Marine Descaler contains no inorganic acids such as phosphoric, hydrochloric, muriatic, or sulfuric! Our engineers have utilized the latest chemical technologies to create a Marine Descaler that is powerful yet protects the 3 E’s: employees, equipment, and the environment. It is a highly efficient, safe, and cost-effective solution for removing seashells, barnacles, mussels, and marine growth from marine heat exchangers, engine water jackets, water distilling units, and ancillary equipment. This is the ideal product for use on: ships, drilling rigs, pleasure craft, boilers, hot water systems and HVAC systems.
Quantum Organic Descaler® “Patent Pending”utilizes compounds that are living organisms in their natural form that produce the same results as inorganic descalers containing hydrochloric, or phosphoric acids. As Quantum is released into the marine environment, it has no residual effects, meaning the marine environment is protected. Quantum’s positive impact on the environment is just the first of its advantages.
Quantum Organic Descaler® is 100% organic, non-toxic and is the only environmentally safe descaling product on the market to protect the environment, employees, equipment, and end-users in a wide range of applications.

Quantum XR is designed to not only remove calcium and lime, but now you can remove rust. Like our original Quantum Organic Descaler, Quantum XR is 100% organic and non-toxic. As the only environmentally safe descaling product on the market, it offers a more stable and less harmful solution than any other product. Unlike other “inorganic” descaling products, Quantum XR Organic Descaler does not “eat, attack, or dissolve”; Quantum XR is designed to be used where rust is present in calcium or as part of the water chemistry as an eco-friendly cleaning solution.
Quantum Gel offers the same advantages as original Quantum but clings to more intricate equipment to stay on longer for a thorough cleaning. Our gel is also available in an XR rust-removing version.
